Do you think once the Iraq war is over and US troops are home; terrorist won’t attack the US anymore?

kris k asked:

The reason I ask this is because when I’ve asked Is the war worth it? People answer like if we stop fighting the war in Iraq then we are going to lose the war on terror. But whenever someone decides we’ve won in Iraq it is not like the terrorist are going to stop hating us? So is the thousands of lives and trillions of dollars really worth it? Then someone will say better to fight them over there then over here (America) but if we tighten our security/borders we probabaly won’t have to worry about it.

I can’t grasp the mentality of anybody who some how thinks that the war in Iraq is making us safer. Considering how committed and vicious the terrorists are, don’t you think they’d attack now, despite Iraq, if they could? Isn’t that how they work (answer:yes).
The real reason they haven’t done anything yet is because they can’t. War or no war.
