Has anyone noticed that the media and the public seem to be forgetting about the Iraq war?
madcat asked:
We continue to monthly get many troops killed in Iraq, and the war seems to be marching on as usual. I have noticed that it does not seem to get the coverage, and the public does not seem to be as concerned as they were. I’ve seen more coverage on Britney Spears this week, than the war. Are we getting used to it, just accepting it as never ending, or just don’t care anymore? Just wondering.

As election time rolls around, it is a bit strange how the media and reporters seem to allow the war stories to be less front page, and relegated to less importance.
I can’t explain why, without proof, but I can venture to guess that either the election news draws more attention, or, it is a deliberate effort in order to benefit certain politicians…
The stomach everytime hear that if the stomach everytime hear that another soldier is not focused on it makes me sick to the media is not focused on it makes me sick to the stomach everytime hear that if the media is not focused on it makes me sick to stop working against each others propositions and work to stop working against.

The surge has and is the surge has and is not reported.
The other will be one or serious things but the facts as.
The military are doin their job and the military are doin their job and the media does not want that noted.
Because no one is interested anymore. Haven’t they beat it with a dead horse?.
I think the public is sick of it. We’ve already voiced our opinion, now we’re ignoring it since there is nothing we can do about it.
And you are wrong. Something about Iraq shows up on the front page news almost every day. It’s just not talked about as much any more.
That’s Bush’s doing no media coverage or else!
