How many American leaders have resigned over the Iraq war mistakes?

HONEY asked:

Didn’t Collen Powell resigned as a honourable man?
Why are experienced leaders like Bush, McCain not resigning after killing Americans in Iraq for nothing.
Is the American standard of accountability/integrity in leadership lowered?
What is worse than waging a war by mistake?
Why are these leaders clinging to power like Mugabe despite the misuse of the intelligence report to kill Americans in Iraq for nothing?

I am with you on this, with the exception of the Collin Powell, who sold us the lies about WMD’s and knew it. He was fired by Condo Rice, Cheney’s executor, as sacrificial lam with a 350,000 a year pension.

I think Colin Powell is pretty much the only “honorable” man who resigned, the rest were weasels who were forced out.

What American standard of accountability/integrity? First I’ve heard of it.

The Iraq war was not a mistake. They knew full well going in that the war was based on lies. They just weren’t smart enough to realize that the determination of zealots is a little more powerful than a paid army.

Will they ever learn? So far the answer is no. Dog help us all.
