Is there a relationship between the increasing murder rates in America and the violence of the Iraq War?

zclifton2 asked:

It seems that America the from top to the bottom has decided that violence is a more legitimate way to settle social problems in America now than in the last ten years. You can not dismiss a connection between the War in Iraq and the Violence on the home front. Can you?
One way to measure this phenominon is to check and see if violence increased during the last major war envolving America, Vietnam. If I remember correctly, it did, significantly increase.

No connection. War by definition is violent.

Any increase in violence in the U.S. is the result of lower moral standards. Children are now being taught in our government (a.k.a. public) schools, that there is no God, they evolved from primordial slime, that there is no absolute right or wrong, and that morality is relative. Therefore, why shouldn’t people excersise their right of CHOICE by choosing whatever their little heart desires? Afterall, we don’t want to be judgemental or intolerant…..do we?

    The murders occurring.
The murders were done by illegal foreigners or does the news bother to tell the murders were.
