The Iraq war has hugely strengthened Iran, and made weak oil-rich Arab states like Saudi Arabia afraid for their security.

It has pushed them into the arms of Israel.

And now they are willing to sign off on any kind of apartheid “final settlement” that Israel and the US can dream up.

So the Iraq war is not a “failure” because it strengthened Iran. It succeeded because it strengthened Iran.
